Pat, company founder, and Apollo Property Management’s President attended McMaster University in Hamilton and Carleton University in Ottawa, studying Business and Economics. Pat has also completed a number of courses offered by (the BOMA) Building Owners and Managers Association including Design, Operation of Building Systems Parts I and II, Real Property Law, Real Estate Investment and Finance, and Environmental Health & Safety Issues. Prior to joining a large area development firm in 1989, Pat was employed by a major international real estate firm, gaining broad experience in property management, as well as real estate sales and marketing.
Pat currently oversees his property management team in the direction of all property management functions of Apollo, including commercial, residential, and condominium management, investor relations, and project coordination.
Pat is an active member of the Ottawa Chapter of BOMA and has served as one of the judges for BOMA’s Annual Building and Property Management awards competition. He is an active member and committee chair with the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, and a member of the Steering Committee for the Regional Linkages Committee. Pat has also served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity.
Dan Fried founded Capital Concierge, an Ottawa Real Estate Management Company in 2000. The high-performance standards he set for the company became deeply rooted. After establishing a reputation as one of the most popular independent property management companies in the furnished market industry, in 2004, the focus switched to the management of Condominium Corporations, where an enviable service record has since been developed, contributing to the company’s continued growth.
Dan grew his business to a total of 15 team members when in 2017 he merged with Yawar Khan and they formed a new entity called CI Property Management.
As the CEO of CI Property Management, Dan and his partners went on to start the CI group of Companies that comprised Service Elite Condos - Tremblant, Capital Property Solutions, a maintenance company, Capital Integral Charitable Foundation, a local registered charity as well as many other real estate service-related corporations
In 2022 Dan and his partner negotiated the merger between CI Property Management and Apollo Property Management to secure the second-largest Condominium Management Company. While Dan stayed with the newly merged entity at the c suite level, his main focus was the expansion of Capital Property Solutions.
Dan is one of the original property managers in Ottawa to hold the Registered Condominium Managers (RCM) designation and is a member in good standing with the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI). Dan is also currently on the CMRAO Discipline Appeals Committee, Tarion Consumer Advisory Council, President of the Bennett and Fagan Lakes Association, President of the Board of Directors of The Johansen in Mt. Tremblant, and the Chairperson of the Owner's committee of The Johansen and Deslauriers.
Yawar Khan currently deals with the residential real estate management division, strategic planning, investor relations, and business development. He has a B.Sc. (Honors) in Biology and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa.
Yawar has over 22 years of progressive management experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to forming the company, he was with the Ottawa Hospital where he worked as a key liaison between the hospital and the medical staff. His diverse experiences include start-up operations, business analysis, business development, and governance. He has managed significant budgets, and developed and implemented best practices in medical clinics, hospitals, and other corporate environments.
In his current role, Yawar actively manages properties and oversees the operations of the remainder of the residential portfolio.
Sean Cornish is Apollo Property Management’s Vice President.
Sean Cornish is Apollo’s Vice-President and has over eighteen (18) years of property management experience including condominium, commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality. Working directly with Apollo’s President and Executive Team Members, he is involved in all aspects of the business operations. Sean’s experience and expertise have been developed through his many years as the Vice President/Regional Director of a large property management firm in Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as his continuing roles at Apollo. Due to Sean’s experience, he has been asked to write a number of articles for the CM magazine and other trade publications as well as being a panelist in dozens of industry webinars.
As a fully licensed Condominium Manager and APOLLO’s Vice President, Sean works in conjunction with all Property Managers to provide support and guidance for effective and efficient Condominium Management. Sean regularly meets with the Property Managers to review their portfolio in detail and meets regularly with the Boards of Directors to ensure the smooth operation of each property.
